Black clouds are here to stay. But occasionally, it doesn’t rain so hard on me. And even sometimes, the sun shines through those evil dark clouds!

It’s called Sweet Impact. The song is really really nice! Truely amazing! She has another song in it called Bad Drive. Not so bad as well. All her songs are nice all the time anyway!

CYNDI’S ALBUM IS OUT!!!!!

Okiie maybe it isn’t very fascinating to some people. But I’m happy anyway! Her CD cover doesn’t look very nice though. Her hairstyle’s a bit like Rainie’s short hair now. With the ends blown inwards. Gosh, she can’t carry out that look. Rainie looks so much better in it.

But some of her songs are nice. The sad sentimental emotional one. I LIKE IT! I’ve downloaded it all already! Hehh.

And another thing to add to my happiness is that

I DYED MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!

Happy happy! Medium Auburn! Thanks to Leisy Peisy who helped me dye my whole head! I like the colour! It’s supposed to be brownish but it’s a bit pinkish-red. I have no idea why. But it’s nice! I think it will fade after a few washes to brown. It isn’t very obvious, but is seems like i might have problems if I go back RH to work. Hopefully it won’t be that bad.

See, black clouds aren’t always rainy. But come to think of it, actually it is! Just this morning i spilled HOT WATER down my sleeves and it burnt my arms! Very painful! Lucky there isn’t any blisters but it was red!

You know I feel kinda loser-ish just thinking about how it happened this morning. I was pressing the HOT WATER flask to fill my mug and the mouth of the flask actually hooked into my sleeves. Unknowingly, I pressed it for water and suddenly I felt this burning sensation on my arms!

THE WATER WAS RUNNING DOWN MY SLEEVE AND SCALDING MY ARMS! Bloody dumb ass. I can’t believe that actually happened! Only this kinda thing will happen to me. Really. It’s not unbelievable. In fact it’s very common.

Everyday some mishap has to happen to me. Anyway enough of the bad stuff. My happiness is still over powering all these nonsense cuz now I’M LISTENING TO BOA AND CYNDI’S NEW SONGS!

Boa’s songs are really nice. Seriously. Don’t lose out by not listening to them! I just love them. =) Boa rocks my socks!

Oh yeahh and today was the first lesson of TV production. Very interesting. Finally waited for this day to come! Hands on for the first time! We learned how to cue in the studio and control room.

We didn’t actually touch a lot on control room cuz that’s what we would be doing tomorrow. Today was all in the studio where we played with the cameras and learned how to fix up the mikes.

Interesting interesting! Tomorrow will be a more interesting day I hope. We’ll be going down to the TV station! Check out the place.

CUT!!!!!!!

My network is BACK! I can receive network coverage! I don’t know how it came back. I was heading to Texas to shop at Grapevine Mills and suddenly on the bus, I received an SMS. Shocking! And I noticed network was back!

I thought maybe only in Texas I can receive it but in Oklahoma there’s some problem. But when I reached back Oklahoma, I still have the network!

And now, it’s still here! I hope it doesn’t just disappear again like the 1st few days I was here.

Might be going out later to Brick Town. Will see how. Need to go WalMart soon! No more food here!

Update in a bit.

Shopping at Dallas didn’t turn out to what I expected or dreamed of. I had this picture of Dallas in mind with all the nice stores with nice clothes in line and every price tag on each shirt marked US$6.

Unfortunately, CLOTHES AREN’T THAT CHEAP THERE! Who said it was tax free? Who said it was darn cheap? Who said that huh! It’s NOT tax free. Clothes are quite cheap there but it’s just not THAT cheap which would make me wanna buy them. You really gotta dig for gold there if you want to get nice and cheap stuff.

Forever 21 is an example. Their stuff are not really that cheap. But it’s still cheaper than Singapore. The average price of a top is around US$24? Which isn’t exactly VERY cheap cuz that would be about SGD36. So it really ain’t that cheap. Comparable to Singapore.

What’s worse is that their clothes there aren’t that nice. I keep thinking of Taiwan the whole time there today! It’s like I keep telling myself Taiwan has cheaper and nicer clothes there. And it’s more of my style.

Sad sad sad! So my buys weren’t many. Very disappointing. But on the other hand it’s good news that I didn’t spend so much too. I would have more to spend in Taipei! So happy!

Anyway, things I bought. I bought this navy blue coat-jacket top with frills which costs only USD9.99. So cheap i tell you! It’s like it doesn’t look like it costs that cheap! But after tax I think it’s about 10 plus. Still reasonable.

I bought myself this pair of WHITE nice looking shoes! It’s so nice I’m so in loved with it since I first saw it. It’s like the one I saw in River Island with quack. Real nice. But River Island was selling it real ex, if not I would have bought it long ago. So lucky to see the "imitation" (if that’s what it should be called) here! It’s only USD12.95. Ok la, after tax was about USD14. Still kinda reasonable to think that I’ve not seen it come out yet in Trendy Zone where all the "imitation" nice pumps can be found.

PLEASE DON’T TELL ME YOU’VE SEEN THOSE AT TRENDY ZONE NOW AND IT’S SELLING CHEAPER THAN 20SGD! I WILL KILL YOU! THAT’S SOMETHING I REALLY DON’T WANNA HEAR NOW!

So anyway, I’m so happy with the buys! Which was only 2 items? Pathetic. Oh yeahh, I went to G by Guess to find quack’s wallet for her. But sadly, there isn’t that design there. Cuz they only carry that few items from Guess. The salegirl also said that usually the online catalogue is very different from in stores and most probably would not carry those online goods in stores as well.

Ohhh well, but all’s not lost! I still have PennSquare to go. I can check out their Guess there so not to worry! And hopefully their Forever 21 has nicer stock of clothes. And there’s also WETSEAL at PennSquare. So yeahh, lucky I didn’t buy too much today!

The black clouds are still haunting me even when I’m here in Oklahoma. No, I’m not talking about the weather here although it’s quite rainy rainy! It’s that "suay-ness" BLACK CLOUDS hovering above my head! Everyday I can just feel them raining on me! Stop following me!

Real unlucky? Narhh, it’s just me. Firstly, like I said my auto roam has cocked up. So really it’s as good as not applying for it? But I still have to pay for it in the subscription even though Starhub is providing such bad service?

I’m not really very bothered about the network problem of my auto roaming actually. But it’s like this. My dad DOES. And I think he called Starhub up or something and probably screwed them? So they are calling me (although I am in US) to ask me about the problem I’m experiencing.

Yeahh so I told them my situation. And on the first day they called, the operator was really friendly. I think her name was Eve or something. She told me to restart my phone and try to search for network again. And I did what she told me to like replacing my SIM card into a friends phone and see if I could get network coverage.

BUT STILL, there isn’t! So she said "Ok nevermind. I will have to ask a technician about this problem and get back to you tomorrow?" And of course I said "No problem!"

Then the next day, the phone rang. It was Starhub again! But it was another operator. I can’t remember her name but she was darn bloody rude! She told me to do the EXACT same thing as what Eve told me to do. WHAT?!

I thought they were supposed to get back to me about my network situation? Anyway, I just did what she ask me to do. Restart phone, STILL CANNOT! Replace the card in a friends phone, ALSO CANNOT! Then she said, "Ok nevermind. I will have to ask a technician about this problem and get back to you tomorrow." WHAT WHAT WHAT?! Same line? So standardized is it?

And till today, they haven’t called me back? GREAT SERVICE. Maybe it’s my black clouds. Everytime they say the same thing. So by the time they call again, I would be telling them "Ohhh nevermind it’s ok. You don’t hafta check for me anymore. Cuz I’m already back in Singapore?" Idiots.

Then the second attack of the black cloud thunder storm hit me again! We were asked to do our student IDs for school cuz I would need to access stuff at OCU. So we had to have our photos taken for the card. The photo was taken by this camera at the admin area where they will auto focus and crop the pic to the size of a passport photo to fit our face.

Leisy’s card was the first. It came out real nice. The face in proportion and all. Just like a passport photo would look like. Your head and part of your shoulders in the photo. But when it was my turn, guess what my photo appeared like?

It was like my head and shoulders were all squeezed in half the size of that passport size and the other half was just the WALL. The biggest headroom space I’ve ever seen in a picture! You know that kind of loser picture you take sometimes when you try to snap a shot of yourself and fail? Leaving lotsa space of the environment instead?

Yeahh my photo was like that on MY CARD! What’s up with that? Then I thought maybe the camera cocked up and was expecting the next person in line to experience the same thing. But NO, it was perfectly normal!

So I asked the admin why my photo was like that and she could still say "I have no idea, the camera does an auto focus and crop feature." Hello, RETAKE ok!

Yeahh so she says I could retake the photo, but I had to wait in line till everyone’s done. And lightning really striked me from that storm when I found out EVERYONE’S card photo had NO PROBLEMS. So my photo was the only small hobbit faced with very big headroom space.

What a loser! But anyway I had it retaken and for second try, it was ok. Thank God the clouds left me then. Super unlucky? No, it’s just me I really think so.

How suay can someone get? As suay as me? No idea. Anyway I will be going to Dallas tomorrow to SHOP! I can’t wait. Cheap stuff awaits me! Forever 21 here I come!

And some extra updates. Today was the last day of my Personal Lifestyle Module. So darn happy! No more exercise for me! It’s breaking my bones and ripping my muscles. Urghh!

Going to rest now! Need energy for shopping tomorrow!

Kuku bird! Why in the world can someone tell me must I take up this module Personal Lifestyle? It’s like sports and wellness? They talk about how to stay healthy, prevent sickness, know the human parts and body, how much carb you can eat in a day etc. It’s so darn lame!

They tell us to bring our work-out attire tomorrow for class cuz I think we would be doing some "exercise"? God knows what. But I think I would really dread it. How long has it been since I last worked out? Real long ok. Imagine suddenly having PE lessions again!

I don’t mind if it was dance or something. But PE is kinda boring. Worse still is that we have to know theories about this health thingy which is much worse than PE cuz at least PE is just hands on and thats all.

I can’t believe it! Anyway, also thank God it’s our very first module cuz I would really rather wanna go through all these nonsense first than enjoying myself and suddenly realise that I have to take such a module later.

Going to bed now. Class at 9 tomorrow morning. Wish me lotsa luck for my stamina, flexibility, muscle endurance, muscle strength and most importantly LOSING WEIGHT.

Not so bad after all ya. Okiie NIGHTS!

It’s 9am here now. Going for breakfast soon and orientation will be at 11am. Finally! And Yayy! Audition worked! So darn happy but I only played for a while, cuz as you can see, it was very late already.

Just sent an email to the stinky bee! He should be working now. My auto roam suddenly just went crazy! I can’t find network here. I guess my dad hasn’t paid the bill? Not sure. But it just can’t seem to connect. And I’ve just left my phone at one corner cuz I wouldn’t be able to use it anyway and the battery just goes down so fast! Don’t understand why!

It’s like the battery is full from morning after I charged it. Then in the evening, when I take a look at it, it only has 2 bars left! But I didn’t even use it! Not even touch it! Weird. Maybe Oklahoma has some force field that drains battery from phones when you leave it there and not use it?

Audition first! Before breakfast.

It’s 12am here and I’m still waiting for audition sea to download! I’ve been downloading it since this afternoon till I fell asleep and now I can’t get to sleep after my shower!

94% downloaded already! Only 6% more to go! So happy! I can finally play audition here! If not I will be bored to tears man. However, tomorrow I’m having my orientation already. School’s gonna start so maybe I might not be able to play anyway. =(

Nevermind, when there’s no school on the weekends, I can play!

It took about 18 over hours just to download this crazy game! I’m just afraid I might still have to wait till it patches. Grrrr.. The other time I tried patching, it could not work! They said there was some connection error or something? So now I’ve downloaded the whole full version (.exe) all over again.

It took bloody long ok! And I’m still waiting for it to finish downloading now! Hopefully the same error won’t occur again if not I would really wish to bang my head against the wall!

96% already! Faster faster! It’s so slow. Pray hard that it’s gonna be ok! If not I’ve just wasted 18 over hours of my time waiting for it.

Oklahoma has been not bad so far. The weather has been great. It’s breezy but it’s not freezing like LA. My classmates from the earlier batch experienced much worst weather than LA here as they said there was rain and also, it was snowing 3 days before they arrived. Imagine how cold it could have been? They said it was about 2 degrees at night.

Ohhh lucky lucky us! It isn’t that bad. Now it’s about 22 degrees in the day and like maybe 16 degrees at night. It’s so cool cuz it’s like sunny in Singapore but the breeze is like cold air-con air blowing at you.

Tomorrow we will be having our orientation before class starts! Oh my Lord I’m still not feeling too good! My nose is stuffy and my voice is still like shit from my sore throat. I’ve taken many panadols for the past two nights already but it doesn’t seem to have helped! Thanks to tenchi mama leisy peisy who took great care of me! Thanks tenchi!

How to get well with such weather? It’s making my skin all dry. And what food they have here? It’s all burgers and fries and potatoes and sausages yada yada yada. You may be thinking "Good what! So nice to eat! Yummy!" Yeahh very true. At the beginning I thought it was HEAVEN! OMG, fries and all! But then it just gets so sick that you don’t wanna eat it again. What’s worse is that I’m sick and I need to eat "healthier" food? And we can’t find anything "healthy" here.

Moisturiser doesn’t seem to help here. I apply it everyday and night but it’s still so dry. For these two days, I have been sick and staying in doing nothing! Only on the first day we went to WalMart. But on the second day, I was resting in the room.

Anyway, can’t wait till school starts. I hope it’ll be fun. Hope no weirdy weirdy weirdos get to us.

I’ve finally reached Oklahoma City! After so much suffering and misery on the plane. I’m so relieved I’m here already. Never ever again will I sit on a plane. (for the time being) I hate pukey plane rides and especially when the plane is landing with that freakng pressure in your ears. Uncomfortable yet painful at the same time. And I had to experience it 4 times in total just to get here! But thank God I’m here really. Bad plane experiences.

The place here really is cool. But I still miss Sunny Singapore lots! Not to worry I’ll be back in a months time. But that’s really long! I can’t take it here. LA is freezing! Luckily Oklahoma is only 20 degrees. Not that cold, but is still chilly.

Home Sick in Oklahoma!!!!
I’ve not even started class. Class starts 2 days later I think. But bo bian la, my flight so early. Luckily got 7 of us here. If not we will be bored to death. And also lucky we 7 travelled here together. I cannot imagine if I’m alone with Lesiy Peisy. We are like road and direction idiots. No sense of direction! What’s worse if I were to travel alone? A bit scary! All the way to US?! Leisy and I will freak out to death. But in Taiwan, hopefully all will go smoothly. It’s only me and tenchi. Gotta be street smart. But HOW? Scary!

Tenchi, Taiwan! More appealing. Must sweep back the nice clothes! And the nice nice accessories! And nice nice shoes, bags wahhh! Eat all the nice nice foods! [fOoDiEs] YUUUCKSSS…

We will go to the Hot Springs! Woahh, the best part. So Japanese! So Shuang! Hopfully can get nice pics too! So happy!

Then tenchi will buy all her comics back! Making her already very heavy luggage weigh even more than we can imagine. IMAGINE! Comics are Books lehh. Very heavy! Good luck to the both of us!

But why am I getting all so excited over Taiwan NOW? I still have to go through bloody school for 3 weeks first. Sad and Bad news man.
